Summary
The Scottish Libraries Information Council (SLIC) is pleased to announce that this year's conference for further education library and information services staff has been jointly organised with the JISC Regional Support Centres and the Scotland's Colleges Librarians' Community of Practice (CoP).
The conference will include a full supplier exhibition and the launch of the new quality toolkit for library and information services.
The conference, chaired by Janis Carson, Vice Principal at Glasgow Metropolitan College, will focus on quality services and resources and features input from HMIe on the new quality framework and keynote speaker, Ollie Bray, National Adviser for Learning and Technology Futures at Learning and Teaching Scotland, who will discuss using ICT to support implementation of the Curriculum for Excellence (CfE).
This event is free to colleges in membership of SLIC - £50 for non-members of SLIC.
Places can be booked online on SLIC's website until Friday 27 November 2009.
