Summary
Creative approaches to leaner Induction can play a key role in improving retention and attainment. This event will demonstrate how meaningful induction processes and activities help establish the foundation for learner engagement and the principles of curriculum for excellence (CfE). Presentations will explore the relevant literature, theories and government strategies, while workshops will encourage participation in a range of induction activities. Participants will establish an induction plan, with suitable activities relavant to their role within the college sector.
Aim
The main aim of this event is to understand the key role that learner induction plays in improving retention, attainment and embedding the ethos of CfE.
