Summary
Further to the extremely well received conference in June, this event represents the second in a series of three events covering related and important aspects of the guidance function. The conference focussed on retention, while this event will look closely at achievement and progression. It will build on topics that attracted significant interest in the conference, including mental health awareness and solutions focussed approaches. We are extremely fortunate to have three major authorities in their field providing master classes at this event. The three workshops are on Solutions Focus, Mental Health Awareness and Optimism and Mind Sets. It is expected that delegates will find these sessions invaluable, and it is the intention for Scotland's Colleges to provide further support to practitioners as they begin to shape their practice around these sessions.
Aims
To deliver a programme of staff development that provides further depth to some retention related topics introduced at the June conference, and introducing complementary topics that focus on skills used to ensure successful achievement and progression.
A non member delegate rate for this event is £180.00.
